End of the year

It has been a great year, again. Than you friends, judges and puppy owners for all and everything.
Many Champions, Winners and more, results in all dog sport areas. And our dogs competing have been relatively young, only one veteran and all others 2 years and under. Could not be more proud of you all!

There has bee also great sorrow during this year, having had to say goodbye to beautiful young dogs, that breaks your heart to million little pieces. They are gone but surely never forgotten. Rest in piece, for you have been loved and we will cherish you in our hearts forever.

We competed last time for this year just before Christmas in Lithuania, our goal was to get CACIB's for our young ones and we did just that! Super happy! Thank you Nanna for company and help!

Winner shows

Show year 2015 is starting to be behind now. We have been blessed with many, many great moments to look back. Our dogs have been successful in a variety of dog sports, in all our breeds. I say thank you with a humble heart to all the judges, friends and owners for this great year!

The biggest shows in Finland are always the Winner shows in Helsinki.
This time we did not have a bunch of dogs, only few and we enjoyed the time spent with dear friends, THANK YOU all!! <3

Another CACIB winner at Exclamation

I have completely forgotten to brag about our latest CACIB winner!

Outi and Henna took our precious Jade, Tln JW-15 EXCLAMATION ECHOES IN TIME  to Estonia, Tartu couple of weeks ago and came back with res-CACIB under Alex Zee, Taiwan and CACIB & CAC under Ligita Zake, Latvia. Thank you girls and judges!!

Since I have not shown in over a month, I've been thinking a lot about the hobby.
Dogshows are a nice hobby indeed and I have met really great people through it, some of them I proudly call my friends. But I must admit that the interest to show has decreased tremendously over the years. Not due to the fact that my dogs would have changes somehow, no in fact they do still win and also big but I do show them sparingly.
The lack of interest comes from the fact that sadly it is not even vaguely all about the dogs anymore. True , there are those judges that still respect their profession and honesty and keep judging the dogs according to the standard. But far too many have no real knowledge of the traits written down on the standards. And even more sadly far too many base their judging to politics and some twisted hierarchy that is not only a disgrace but also a disservice to all pedigree dogs.
This trend can be seen all over the world but I think it is emphasized in the countries where there are shows like mushrooms in the forest.
So I do choose carefully when and where to spend my money.
I still like to show my dogs, I just sometimes have to weigh if I have some other more important things to do or simply if I just want to save my money for something else. Simple as that.

And with this note I also need to brag about our young Basil, LTW-15 EXCLAMATION LE CHIFFRE, who rocked the stage at Finnish Basset hunting field trial Championships. It was the highest level of competition EVER, and our Basil got WINNER 1st PRIZE with 82,16 points loosing ONLY under two points to the winner!! This means he came 3rd at Finnish Championships, what a achievement from this 2 year old boy! Super happy and proud!!!

Can't believe how fast time has flown... again....

How did we celebrate? well of course in a dog show getting the first try at their Ch titles. Luckily it was a home show, only 15min drive from home....

Last days of July

Summer is almost over in terms of calender but I do hope August brings some hot days as we have not really had any of those..........

Oh my. Where to start.....
It was weekend trip to Latvia. Riikka and I packed the car with some yankees and parsons and headed to Riga.
Million thanks to Riikka for the best of company and all the help!!!! And even bigger congrats on super results with the lovely parsons!

Also a BIG thank you with hugs goes to Janniina and Kassu for all. You girls rock <3

While I was in Latvia Tuukka and Maarit took Armas, C.I.B Exclamation Beyond The Horizon to character test (mental test). I must say I am such a PROUD breeder.... This boy achieved total points of 223, which is extremely super result. Such a result that not even many working dogs achieve that. He is a special boy, in all ways!

And the show went kinda good too.... LOL.
